Georgia Clarke
is the Executive Director of TFCC. She
reports to the Board of Directors and
works closely with the Board, staff, and
community organizations and agencies to
further the mission of the Teen and
Family Counseling Center. As Executive
Director she supervises all aspects of
TFCC including programs, marketing, fund
development, administration and finance.
Georgia has over 30 years of experience
as an educator, manager and leader in
corporate and educational environments.
She has a Master’s Degree in Counseling
and Education from Santa Clara
University and a BS in Special and
Elementary Education from the University
of Wisconsin. She has served as a Santa
Clara County Task Force Commissioner and
Board President of Project H.E.L.P. in
Sunnyvale. She has received local and
state recognition for her work with
literacy and for various corporate
employee programs. Georgia has an
extensive history of working with
children, adolescents and adults as a
teacher, parent, coach and leader.

Marianne Vernacchia, a licensed Marriage
and Family Therapist, manages TFCC's
clinical services and ensures quality
supervision of MFT interns and
trainees. In addition to her commitment
to TFCC, Marianne maintains her own
private practice specializing in
addiction, families and mood disorders.
She has a continuing affiliation with
the California Association of Marriage
and Family Therapists, the National
Eating Disorders Association, and the
Child and Adolescent Bipolar
Foundation.
Marianne earned her M.A. in Counseling
Psychology from Santa Clara University.

Angelique
Bagley is a licensed Marriage and Family
Therapist who provides clinical training
and supervision to MFT interns and
trainees who are placed by TFCC at area
schools. In addition to this role at
TFCC, she maintains a private practice
in San Jose and serves as the 2005
president of the California
branch of Association for Play Therapy.
She has a background working in school
settings of all grade levels, private
practice, and non-profit agencies. She
has a continued affiliation with the
California Association of Marriage and
Family Therapists and Association for
Play Therapy.
Angelique
earned her MA in Counseling, marriage
and family counseling concentration,
and MA in counseling, Pupil Personnel
Services concentration, from California
State University, Sonoma. She earned
her BA in psychology and BA in English
from California State University,
Sonoma.

Nang
Cao, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker,
provides clinical supervision to
MFT Interns/Trainees and Associate
Social Workers who had been placed by
TFCC at local schools. In addition to
his role at TFCC, Nang works as a
Clinical Supervisor at Santa Clara
County Mental Health Department where he
specializes in working with Special
Education students who have emotional
difficulties and Vietnamese-American
children/adolescents and their
families. Nang has a deep interest in
the area of cultural competency and has
done trainings in this area.
Nang earned his MSW (Master in Social
Welfare) from the University of
California at Berkeley. He also earned
his BS in Computer Engineering and BA in
Psychology at Bucknell University.
Harvey

Harvey Cohen, licensed Marriage and
Family Therapist, provides clinical
supervision to MFT interns and Trainees
at TFCC. He is a professor of psychology
at John F Kennedy University where he
has been a clinical supervisor for 12
years and was Professor of the Year in
2003.
Harvey has been the director of the JFKU
Expressive Arts Kids Camp serving the
Sunnyvale-Cupertino school district for
the past 11 years. His specialty is
group psychotherapy using expressive
arts or the "counsel process." Harvey
has produced two videos on leading
children's therapy groups. He has
taught parenting classes to clinicians
as well as parents. Harvey has had a
private practice in Aptos Ca. since
1990.

Susan Heimsoth is TFCC’s Executive
Administrator. She brings 6 years
experience in the non-profit sector to
her financial and administrative
duties. Educated in England, Susan has
continued her studies in accounting and
business in the U.S.

Brenda joined TFCC in the fall of 04’
providing direct support to the
executive staff as well as managing the
TFCC intern program. Since the fall of
06’ she has continued to provide grant
and statistical administrative duties
for the agency. Brenda holds a
B.A. in Social Science with an emphasis
in public service and social change from
SJSU, as well as an A.A. in humanities
from Foothill College. She plans to
further her education by obtaining a
master’s in nonprofit management.

Nancy joined TFCC in March 2007 and
supports the TFCC staff as our Office
Assistant. She has over 15 years
experience as an executive assistant,
buyer and managed/administered a 401(k)
retirement plan in the pharmaceutical
industry.
